Our regular (fortnightly) Wednesday meeting at Pettys usually involves some discussion of issues in the orchard. Future netting ideas and additional plantings are on our minds at the moment. There will also need to be adjustment of the nets and checking of apples - those that are ready will be picked and tasted! Plants may need watering and we will check the dripper system if it is running. We will be tasting and picking apples for our tastingevents.
New-comers welcome. Please email heritagefruitssociety@gmail.com so we know you are coming. Morning tea is a chance to discuss issues and meet with other volunteers.
